Pop superstar Adele plans for baby next year amid Rich Paul engagement rumours

Superstar Adele has revealed she plans to have another baby with partner Rich Paul – sparking new rumours the couple plan to wed.

Appearing on the Graham Norton Show this Friday (February 11) the singing sensation opened up about her relationship with the famed sports agent and teased fans claiming she plans to have a baby "next year."

When host Graham asked Adele about her postponed Las Vegas residency, the Hello singer, 33, assured viewers that it would be rescheduled for this year because she plans on having a baby.

"It is absolutely 100 percent happening this year. It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year," she said. "Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby?"

She again hinted at family plans, saying: "It takes me a while to recharge, and I would like to have more children – I only just feel like I've caught up with my sleep from nine years ago when I had my son."

The star shares a son, Angelo Adkins, with ex-husband Simon Konecki.

Flashing her diamond ring, which sparked engagement rumours with Rich when she wore it at this week's BRIT Awards, Adele remained tight-lipped when Graham asked if the pair were engaged, saying: "If I was would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn't?"

When asked about her cancelled Vegas residency, which was scrapped just a day before it was set to start at Caesars Palace, she admitted she felt the show would be "half-a**ed".

"I tried my hardest and really thought I would be able to pull something together in time," Adele explained.

"I regret that I kept going until that late in the day. It would have been a really half-arsed show, and I can’t do that.

"People will see straight through me up on the stage and know I didn’t want to be doing it. I’ve never done anything like that in my life and I’m not going to start now."

Graham also asked the star about her BRIT Awards success on Tuesday night, where she took home three gongs.

The star made a shocking swipe at the BRIT Awards' new gender-free category change when she blasted: "I’m proud to be a woman."

Adele slated the new format during her gushing thank you speech, claiming that while she "understands" the change, she is still very proud to represent her gender.
