Pregnant Jennifer Lawrence wows as she shows off her baby bump at premiere

Jennifer Lawrence stunned as she showcased her baby bump for the first time on the red carpet at the Don't Look Up premiere in New York.

The mum-to-be posed alongside her co-star Leonardo DiCaprio on Sunday.

The award winning actress wowed in a golden floor-length dress which featured sequinned tassels and sheer long draped sleeves.

The star opted for a simple makeup look with her hair tied back in a low bun featuring lose curls.

Don't Look Up has been written and directed by Adam McKay and follows two low-level astronomers played by Lawrence and DiCaprio who must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth.

The 31-year-old was also joined by Meryl Streep, Kid Cudi and Jonah Hill at the premiere.

However, the Hollywood actress was not joined by her husband Cooke Maroney who she has been with since 2018 and later married in 2019 in a ceremony in Rhode Island.

During an interview with Vanity Fair last month, the actress said she wants to keep her baby out of the public eye.

She explained: “If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’ But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can.

“I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence,” Lawrence adds. “And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

Ahead of the release of Lawrence's new film there are already Oscar rumours with fans predicting DiCaprio being nominated for Best Actor and the film receiving a Best Picture nomination.
