RHOCheshire’s Nicole Sealey ‘lucky to be alive’ after horror crowbar robbery

Real Housewives of Cheshire stars Nicole Sealey has said she feels lucky to be alive after masked robbers targeted her and husband Joe's home.

The millionaire couple were targeted by a masked gang of thugs who made off with possessions including Nicole's wedding ring and three Rolexes.

The terrifying incident occurred on Thursday (November 17) at around 8.15pm at their Wilmslow mansion, where they were with their son and their niece.

Nicole has revealed she and Joe had gone for an early night as they were feeling unwell, when she heard what she thought was a "bomb".

She told The Sun: “It was like an explosion. I had literally just stepped away from where they threw a concrete thing through the glass.

“I’m incredibly lucky that they didn’t break in 10 seconds before. If they did, I don't think I would still be here.

“They then came into the room I was in. They had crowbars and they chased me. There was obviously confrontation. It’s just very lucky that none of us were hurt.”

The thugs immediately went for Nicole and Joe's jewellery, getting away with some of their most valuable items.

There was Nicole's wedding and engagement rings, a Rolex Daytona watch, a Rolex Presidential watch and a Rolex Sky Dweller.

Rolex Daytona watches have been known to sell for around £600,000 – however Nicole said it's the sentimental value of the items which mattered more.

Police are now on the hunt for the three thugs, who reportedly all had strong Mancunian accents.

One was described as 6’1” tall of stocky build, the second around 6’ tall and of athletic build, and the third man was described as slightly smaller and of a stocky build.

Nicole is now trying to collect as much CCTV footage as possible to try and stop the men.

Police are also urging anyone in the area who may have seen something to get in touch to help the investigation.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Joyce, of Macclesfield CID, said: “This was an absolutely terrifying incident for all those involved and we are committed to doing all we can to trace the people responsible.

“Enquiries are ongoing and as part of our investigation we want to hear from anyone who was in the Manchester Road area, near to Styal Road, around the time of the incident and believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious.

“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid our investigation.

“I’d also ask businesses or individuals to be vigilant and report anyone who may be trying to sell the stolen watches and jewellery.”
