Rita Ora's party venue Casa Cruz where she hosted her illegal 30th birthday party in November is facing having its license revoked by the council.
Rita, who is said to have bagged herself a £1 million pay cheque for the current series of The Masked Singer, sparked universal outrage after flouting lockdown rules to party with her pals on November 28 despite strict Covid guidelines being in place.
Now Daily Star can reveal that Met Police launched an official bid to revoke the license of the swanky restaurant in Notting Hill after they allowed Rita to host the bash.
The move is on top of the Met recommending four people for fines and, if successful, would see Casa Cruz unable to play music or serve alcohol.
In official documents seen by Daily Star, Met Police argue that Rita's bash was "in breach of Coronavirus restrictions regulations in effect at that time and a breach of a premises licence condition".
The police are seeking a total revocation of the licence barring the venue from the "playing of recorded music indoors, the provision of late night refreshments and the sale of retail alcohol both and on off the premises".
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has confirmed to Daily Star a hearing will take place later this month to decide the fate of the venue often frequented by celebs including Victoria Beckham and Nick Jonas.
A rep for the council said: "The location, it is under review and will be discussed at a virtual hearing on Thursday 28 Jan."
A rep for Met Police said: "A total of four people have been reported for consideration for a fixed penalty notice under ‘The Health Protection (Coronavirus) Regulations 2020’ for contravening requirements not to participate in an indoor gathering of two or more people.
"Officers continue to liaise with the local authority regarding a potential breach of regulations at the premises."
The Met previously confirmed they were called out to a reported breach of Covid regulations on Saturday November 28.
A rep for Rita Ora has declined to comment.
A representative for Casa Cruz has been contacted by Daily Star for comment.
Police were photographed peering through windows of Casa Cruz and knocking on the restaurant's locked door after receiving a call about a potential breach.
Paula Williamson inquest: Charles Bronson's estranged wife's death was 'drug related'
It is thought that Rita and her pals were inside the venue when officers attended the scene.
After being caught out, the I Will Never Let You Down singer issued a grovelling apology.
Rita said: "Given the restrictions, I realise how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility.
"I'm deeply sorry for breaking the rules and in turn understand that this puts people at risk.
"This was a serious and inexcusable error of judgement."
