Rob Beckett has joked that he's heading to court because ITV replaced him on The Masked Singer.
The comedian has been teasing fans for days, saying he was inside the Traffic Cone suit.
The latest instalment saw Aled Jones unmasked as the character – but Rob clearly doesn't want to let the joke go just yet.
Continuing the wind-up, he star told fans on Twitter that it was originally him, but that Aled had to replace him after he spilled the beans about being Traffic Cone.
"Livid @ITV replaced me with @realaled and re filmed the reveal because I let slip," he tweeted.
"Real Phoebe from Friends Smelly Cat energy."
ITV responded with a crying with a laughter emoji.
And Rob quipped: "See you in court."
The star had long been hinting that he was Traffic Cone, and while some fans thought he was bluffing there were plenty who thought he might well be telling the truth.
He recently posted a tweet which was supposedly meant for his social media team.
"Just send this out once I've been unmasked," it said.
He added: "Thanks for all the support being the Traffic Cone I absolutely loved it. Great show. The kids couldn't believe it was me."
He then claimed that ITV were cross with him for letting the cat out of the bag, tweeting that the post was "an accident".
"ITV are p***** off with me," he added.
Most fans thought Rob's long-running joke was hilarious.
"Have to say, that was a great gag – and a plea to be on it next year!" one person posted on Twitter.
"Rob you have to do the show in the future now," urged another fan.
