Robbie Coltrane could be seen chatting to his dear friend and Harry Potter co-star Emma Watson in his last public photo before he died aged 72.
The beloved British actor, famed for playing friendly Hogwarts giant Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, died in hospital near Falkirk in Scotland.
Coltrane's agent Belinda Wright confirmed the sad news on Friday (October 14), where she described him as a "wonderful actor" and an "abidingly loyal client".

The national treasure was last pictured on the set of Return to Hogwarts, the highly-anticipated Harry Potter 20th Anniversary special which came out in January this year.
In the heartwarming photo, Robbie was deep in conversation with Emma, who played studious Hermione Granger in the Hogwarts films.
The pair appeared to be enjoying each other's company, with Emma sporting a wide smile and leaning in to show she was engaged in the chat.
The actors were sat at a lavishly-decorated table surrounded by their fellow Harry Potter co-stars and crew members.

The HBO special came 20 years after the release of Philosopher's Stone, the first film in the franchise, which is based on JK Rowling's bestselling fantasy books.
During the reunion show, Robbie grew emotional he he spoke about the legacy of the Potter films and his beloved Hagrid character.
The Scottish actor said: "It's the end of an era. Ten years of my life. My children have grown up during it."

He smiled as he added: "The legacy of the movies is that my children's generation will show them to their children.
"So, you could be watching it in 50 years' time, easily… I'll not be here, sadly… but Hagrid will, yes."
Coltrane's agent Belinda Wright described her client as a "unique talent" as she confirmed his passing on Friday.

She thanked staff at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert for their care and added that Robbie's Hagrid role "brought joy to children and adults alike all over the world".
She wrote: "For me personally I shall remember him as an abidingly loyal client. As well as being a wonderful actor, he was forensically intelligent, brilliantly witty and after 40 years of being proud to be called his agent, I shall miss him.

"He is survived by his sister Annie Rae, his children Spencer and Alice and their mother Rhona Gemmell. They would like to thank the medical staff at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert for their care and diplomacy.
"Please respect Robbie's family's privacy at this distressing time."
Tons of Harry Potter stars have paid tribute to Robbie following his death, including Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson.
JK Rowling also described Coltrane as an "incredible talent" and "a complete one-off".
