It's been 44 years since John Travolta donned that famous white suit and strutted his stuff on to the dancefloor in Saturday Night Fever.
The movie became one of the most iconic productions of all time and set John on his path to becoming one of the biggest names in Hollywood over the last four decades.
While Tony Manero set John up for an excellent future, his co-stars didn't have so much luck with most of them struggling to maintain a healthy career in the acting business.
Daily Star has taken a look at where the cast members have ended up now.
John Travolta (Tony)
His piercing blue eyes and chiselled jawline won John an army of fans around the world. The role helped him secure a string of roles in future movies including Grease, Pulp Fiction, Hairspray and Gotti.
While his on-screen career has been a huge success, behind the scenes John's life has been marred by tragedy.
At the time of filming Saturday Night Fever he was dating actress Diana Hyland who he met in 1976, however, she sadly died of Breast Cancer in March 1977.
John eventually got together with future wife Kelly Preston in 1988 and the pair got hitched in 1991 in Paris.
They had three children, Jett, Ella Bleu and Benjamin, however, tragedy struck in January 2009 when the family were on a Christmas vacation in the Bahamas and Jett collapsed and died after having a seizure aged just 16 years old.
Jett had reportedly suffered from Kawasaki disease since the age of two and was autistic.
In July 2020 John was again struck by tragedy when Kelly passed away aged 57, after a two year battle with Breast Cancer.
Following her death he announced via Instagram he would be taking a break to focus on grieving for his wife.
He said: "I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while."
Karen Lynn Gorney (Stephanie)
Karen took a break from working in showbiz following her appearance in the movie and became an art gallery manager in Manhatttan.
She did however venture back into Hollywood in the '90s and took on roles in big-name shows including Law & Order and The Sopranos.
Along with her acting work, Karen, now 76, is a singer and has released three albums: Used to Love You Madly, Hot Moonlight!, and The Dance of the Deadly's. She has performed at various jazz clubs and cafes.
Barry Miller (Bobby C.)
Barry, now 63, featured in a string of high profile TV roles including parts in Wonder Woman, NYPD Blue and Grey's Anatomy spin-off Private Practice throughout the years.
However, he hasn't added anything to his acting resume for the past 14 years since appearing in Shortcut To Happiness in 2007.
One of his most major film roles was playing Reuven Malter in 1981’s The Chosen.
Joseph Cali (Joey)
Since Saturday Night Fever, Joseph, now 71. managed to keep his acting profile prominent throughout the 80s and 90s securing his fair share of parts in huge shows including Murder She Wrote, Melrose Place and Baywatch.
However, his success didn't last and he hasn't been on TV since 2000.
He currently owns and operates a home theatre business in Los Angeles, Joseph Cali Systems Design Inc..
He is married to recording artist Lori Lieberman.
Paul Pape (Double J.)
Paul, now 69, put his dulcet tones to good use and became a voice actor instead of appearing in front of the camera as his career rolled on.
He has voiced characters in some of the biggest movies out there including Madagascar, Shrek and Wreck-It Ralph.
The list is endless and the change of direction has kept him working through the decades.
He also played a supporting role in the 2008 racing video game Need for Speed: Undercover as Lt. Jack M. Keller.
Donna Pescow (Annette)
Donna, now 67, has been hugely successful over the years appearing in Murder She Wrote, NYPD Blue, Clueless, The Sopranos and most recently New Girl and The Flash.
In 1999, Disney contacted Pescow about appearing in a half-hour youth sitcom for the network.
A pilot was filmed in 2000, and the series went on to become Even Stevens. It aired for three seasons on Disney Channel from 2000 to 2003.
She also directed three episodes of the series, which became a flagship for the network.
After the series ended in 2003, Pescow and the rest of the cast returned for the finale film The Even Stevens Movie.
She has taken several breaks through her career but has always managed to continue working when deciding to take up acting again.
Fran Drescher (Connie)
Fran moved on to starring in sitcom The Nanny, for which she was nominated for two Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Television Series during its run.
Since the show ended she has added several roles to her CV including parts in Law and Order, Entourage and even The Simpsons.
The now 64-year-old actress has also used her skills on stage performing on Broadway in Cinderella as the stepmother.
In her private life, Fran has been subjected to some horrific experiences.
In January 1985 two armed robbers broke into the Los Angeles apartment she shared with her husband, childhood sweetheart Peter Marc Jacobson.
As one of the robbers ransacked her home, the other held Fran and her friend at gunpoint and raped both women.
Her husband was at home at the time and was physically assaulted and tied up. He was then forced to watch the whole ordeal.
Her rapist was on parole at the time of the attack and was eventually apprehended and returned to prison and given two life sentences.
In June 2000, Fran was diagnosed with uterine cancer after a series of misdiagnoses. She underwent a radical hysterectomy and was eventually given a clean bill of health.
