Queen’s Brian May knighted for services to music and charity
Sir Brian May often shares how he’s feeling through the ups and downs of life on his very active Instagram account.
Most recently the 75-year-old has been left in tears of joy after visiting the rehearsal rooms of the We Will Rock You musical’s revival.
The Queen jukebox theatrical production ran for 12 years at the Dominion Theatre in London’s West End, becoming the longest-running musical at that venue after a decade.
Now the show is set to return to the nation’s capital with a 12-week run at the London Coliseum from June, with its writer Ben Elton starring as the Rebel Leader for the first time ever.
Sharing a snap from the rehearsals, the Queen guitarist couldn’t hold back his excitement or his tears.
