Steps star Lisa Scott-Lee has donated an eye-watering amount of cash to the church where the iconic Tragedy music video was filmed.
The church from the 1998 hit song Tragedy's music video is in need of dire repairs, and Chris Fox – a Technology reporter, video producer, and archivist for the band Steps – put a call out on Twitter.
He explained how the Anglican church "needed help", writing: "@ashwcampus is trying to raise £2,000 this Christmas for important repairs. I know Steps fans can help them smash this target and help preserve a bit of pop history!"

Lisa – from the 90s and noughties pop band – then saw the tweet and quote retweeted it where she spoke of it being a "beautiful backdrop" for the pop song's music video.
Donating the £2,000 needed and writing a message on the Just Giving page, Lisa penned: "I can’t let this be a Tragedy. I hope this helps your beautiful church. Thank you for the wonderful memories! Merry Christmas, love Lisa from Steps x."
Fans went wild online, with one sharing a screengrab of Lisa's donation and sweet note, writing alongside it: "Lisa Scott-Lee donating £2000 to help repair the church where Steps filmed the Tragedy music video. Her pure heart."
"The way she’s done a title drop hahahahaha," wrote another.
While a third added: "Lisa is a goddamn treasure."
And a fourth made a pun-filled joke relating to the lyrics of the song, writing: "When the ceilings gone and you can’t sing songs."
The Campus of All Saints' Church is located at 90 Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald.
"All Saints' is a lively and diverse fellowship of people of all ages and ethnicities," it states on the church's website.
The damage to the church comes in the shape of the passageway between the church and the toilets, which sadly collapsed.
It happened because of the long dry summer, which highlighted how the passage was structurally unsafe.
On their JustGiving page, they explained: "We are hoping to raise £2,000 this Christmas to go towards the repairs.
"In total, the work will cost the church £50,000. With enough donations, we hope to add an accessible toilet to make our church more inclusive.
"Any help will be deeply appreciated."
