As Nadiya shared the news on Instagram she wrote: "Honestly we can't believe this is happening, opening night @nadiyaandkai we are so ready! Can't wait for you guys to see it. Let's do it."
Meanwhile her former Strictly partner Dan Walker threw his support behind her and wrote: "Smash it up partner. Have a great one."
Nadiya explained that she and Kai are "extremely excited" to perform the new show to people across the UK after touring together in the past.
However, it will be their first time headlining the show themselves.
The pair celebrated their opening night with numerous Instagram posts as Nadiya wrote: "What a feeling. What an opening night. Trying to take it all in. Thank you to each and every one [of you] for support and hard work. The best team."
She added: "The best audience and the best partner in crime. So grateful."
Kai commented on the snap to swoon over his girlfriend as he wrote: "My partner in crime always," while Dan Walker wrote: "Well done partner. Sounds amazing."
Upon confirming the show, Nadiya previously wrote: "To headline our own tour together will be something special. We're really looking forward to sharing this experience with our fans and giving them an insight into our love of ballroom."
Kai added in the statement that it was "amazing" to do the show alongside Nadiya.
He wrote: "We believe we have assembled one of the best casts around to support us on our tour so we cannot wait to get out there next Spring and entertain audiences across the country by giving them all a show to remember."
The pair will continue to tour over the coming months as they prepare to return to the stage once again.
