Shirley Ballas’ health retreat in Portugal appears to have just come to a bittersweet end, but she leaves with some footage radiating body positivity to cherish as a wholesome memory.
The 62-year-oldStrictly Come Dancingjudge posted a video on her Instagram account on Saturday (5 August), prancing around a tiny black swimsuit which is slowly gaining fame, as this is not the first time fans have seen it.
The dancer had already given a glimpse of what her wellness getaway looked like, showing herself working up a sweat on an exercise bikewhile reading a book titled 7-Day Juice Challenge.

This time, Shirley showed herself living her best and healthy life in a clip perfectly synched to Alexander Jean’s song Sounds Like Fun.
She was spotted dancing, tanning, venturing off to some local sights, hiking, often carrying the same book and wearing the same black swimsuit, teaming her look with a black and white cap and sunglasses.
But perhaps one of the most liberating moments in the ballroom dance star’s video was the few clips where she appeared topless, transmitting glowing and positive energy all around as she paired her minimalist look with the best accessory: a huge smile.
Shirley wrote: “What goes down at Juice Master Retreats you ask? A little bit of everything.
“Juicing, yoga, exercising, walking, spinning and jiving.
“I switched off my phone, swam in the lake and went naked by the sea lol.”
She went on to thank Alexander Jean, the musician whose song she used for her Instagram post.
“I enjoyed every moment in the beautiful scenery with beautiful,” Shirley continued.
The Strictly star expressed her gratitude to Jason Vale, AKA the Juice Master who wrote Shirley’s beloved book about drinking juices, and owner of the retreat.
“Thank you for all you do, you really are quite the dancer,” she wrote.
Finally, Shirley thanked her girl pal Laura Sinclair, who is head of entertainment at a public relations agency called DawBell, for “sharing this time” with her.
The dance coach continued: “Now we head home for a short weekend before going up north for the BBC Breakfast, then down to Wales for my Campaign Against Living Miserably Skyathlon, and then very soon I get back behind that BBC Strictly desk!”
“Amazing to see you yesterday and thank you again for giving up your time to put on a dance class for myself and the guests,” Jason Vale commented.
“You’re a rare beautiful soul Shirley and it’s an honour to know you. PS: I will read your book and I will finally watch SCD,” he added.
