Tarzan: The Epic Adventure actor Joe Lara has died aged 58 in a plane crash.
The star was travelling alongside his wife Gwen Shambling Lara and five other people near Nashville when the incident took place.
A press conference over the weekend by Rutherford Country Fire and Rescue confirmed that the search for those on the helicopter had turned into a recovery of bodies.
Capt. Joshua Sanders said: "We are no longer looking for live victims at this point."
The other victims were confirmed via a statement as Jessica and Jonathan Walters, Jennifer J. Martin, David L. Martin, and Brandon Hannah.
They were all from Brentwood, Tennessee.
Joe became a household name in 1989 after landing the lead role of Tarzan in CBS TV film Tarzan in Manhattan.
He reprised the role for two years in 1996 for a spin-off TV series.
Away from his role of Tarzan, Joe had an impressive career.
In 1993 the appeared in American Cyborg: Steel Warriors, Warhead, Armstrong and Doomsdayer.

At the turn of the millennium he tried his hand at singing and launched a country music career.
He released an album Joe Lara: The Cry of Freedom in 2009.
