It's been 23-years since The Parent Trip first stormed the movie world, later becoming a box office smash.
The film which was a remake of the 60s version was the first real acting gig for Lindsay Lohan which propelled her to Hollywood stardom.
Director Nancy Meyers kept the original same title but switched it up to cleverly modernise her own adaption.
The movie follows two identical twin girls, who were separated at birth with the divorced parents going their separate ways with just one adopted daughter.
Neither sister has been informed that they have an identical sibling until they come face to face and the fun starts.
But the real question is, what are the cast of the film up to all these years later?
Lindsay Lohan
Rebekah Vardy ordered to pay chunk of Coleen Rooney's legal fees in High Court battle
Way before Lindsay found fame on the hit teen movie Mean Girls, she’d landed herself the starring role of both twins in The Parent Trap.
The identical Twins who were worlds apart had no idea about one another and met during a chance trip to Summer camp.
After their paths crossed, the cheeky ‘duo’ decided to swap lives and set out on a mission to bring their divorced parents back together again.
She went on to become a huge name in Hollywood landing acting jobs on films such as Get a Clue in 2002, Freaky Friday, 2003 and Herbie: Fully Loaded in 2005.
After finding herself on the wrong side of the law and hitting the party scene pretty hard, Lohan decided to chop in her acting career and instead opened up two nightclubs in Greece.
Lindsay is believed to still be living in Dubai and in an interview with The New York Times in 2018 she opened on plans to build her own island in the Middle East in hope of unleashing a series similar to "Vanderpump Rules."
More recently, the actress returned to the music scene unleashing a new track Back To Me.
Dennis Quaid – Nick (Hallie's dad).
Before the romantic american movie hit screens in 1998, Dennis was already a star in his own right, having landed roles in films The Right Stuff, The Big Easy and Great Balls of Fire.
Since The Parent Trap, Denis has seen much success in the movie world, starring in The Day After Tomorrow the remake of Footloose in 2011, and A Dog's Purpose.
Just two years ago, Dennis hit the headlines after his engagement to Laura Savoie was announced.
The actor who previously dated Meg Ryan sparked debate as Laura was almost 40 years his junior.
However, the pair shrugged off critics and tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Santa Barbara in June last year.
Natasha Richardson – Elizabeth (Annie's mum)
Sadly Natasha died in 2009 following a tragic skiing accident which resulted in a fatal head injury.
The actress fell while attempting a beginner's slope at a Canadian Ski resort and suffered a "blunt impact".
Cause of death was confirmed to be epidural hematoma which is a bleed on the brain caused by significant trauma to the skull.
Actor Liam Neeson was married to Natasha for 15 years prior to her death in 2009.
Natasha leaves behind two sons Micheál and Daniel who have followed in her footsteps to honour her.
Elaine Hendrix – Meredith Blake
Meredith was your typical wicked step-mother who was engaged to Hallie's father Nick in the movie.
It was evident that Hallie and Meredith didn't exactly have the best relationship as they struggled to get on and the twins couldn't wait to sabotage her romance with Nick.
Elaine was pipped for big things after The Parent Trap landing the role of Renee on the hit American show 90210, along with movies Inspector Gadget 2 and FX sitcom Anger Management,
The Tennessee-born star is obviously proud of her Parent Trap roots and often shares memes on Instagram to reminisce about iconic moments in the film.
Lisa Ann Walter – Hallie’s and Nick’s housekeeper Chessy
In the film Chessy becomes a key friend to the girls after becoming convinced Meredith was only getting married to Nick for his money.
After her stint in the movie, she tried her hand at producing instead and worked on programmes such as Gonzo Girls and Dance Your A** Off.
She also starred in Bruce Almighty, Shall We Dance and War of The Worlds.
In 2011 she was even landed her own programme The Fabulous Lisa Ann Walter Show but in 2014, she threw in the towel in a bid to re-focus on her acting again.
