Truck Festival unveils new acts set to join Sam Fender, The Kooks and Sigrid

Truck Festival 2022 has released its latest line-up – joining the likes of BRIT Awards 2022 nominee Sam Fender, The Kooks and Kasabian.

The star-studded festival will kick off on Hill Farm in Oxfordshire this July – between 22 and 24 July – and at the time of writing only 10% of tickets remain.

It comes as the festival is set to celebrate its hotly-anticipated 25th Anniversary this summer – boasting a range of "heavyweight acts" and "new and exciting upstarts" to wow its dedicated crowds.

The huge acts already announced for the weekend include Sam Fender, Kasabian, Blossoms, and Capital's Jingle Bell Ball star Sigrid.

Revealed today (February 1), the latest stars to join the roster includes indie bands Sea Girls, The Murder Capital and Cassia.

Announcing the lineup, a statement from Truck Festival read: "Truck Festival has ramped up the anticipation for it’s 25th Anniversary event by announcing a slew of more new names who will all be appearing at the Oxfordshire festival this July.

"Continuing to break boundaries by fusing heavyweight acts of the modern indie, rock and alternative scenes with new and exciting upstarts, this second line-up announcement is spearheaded by Sea Girls, Jaws, The Murder Capital and Cassia."

"Elsewhere on the bill Noisy, Crawlers, The Hara, Folly Group, Courting, Grandmas House, Deep Tan, Sofy and Jacquard Looms will all appear over the weekend of 22nd – 24th July in the Oxfordshire countryside.

It continued: "Cementing the generational rite of passage weekend of hijinks that Truck has become renowned for, festival-goers are encouraged to act fast if they don’t want to miss out with 90% of tickets for the event already snapped up!

"All of the acts will be joining previously announced headliners Sam Fender, Kasabian, Bombay Bicycle Club and The Kooks, with a special Thursday night headline performance from Blossoms and a whole host more.

On the bigger acts already announced, another statement said: "With already announced headliners Sam Fender, Kasabian, Bombay Bicycle Club, Blossoms and The Kooks alongside names such as Sigrid, Easy Life, Inhaler, Sports Team, Kelis, Yard Act, The Big Moon, Shame, Black Honey, Sundara Karma, Alfie Templeman and many more all heading to Oxford this July, Truck 2022 is set to be a landmark return from one of the festival world’s very best!"

Festival organiser Conor Burns said: "We're so happy to share our second wave of artists to our bumper Truck Festival 2022 Line-up! Favourites Sea Girls will help us see into the Friday and we're over the moon to welcome fan favourites The Murder Capital to the Market Stage.

"PLUS Switch Oxford are bringing a stacked line up to Palm City this year with Wilkinson, Bru-C and Ewan McVicar taking us into the early hours. As we've said, the whole team are truly overwhelmed with the response and still in awe of the demand for tickets this year, July cannot come quick enough!”
