X Factor favourite Wagner revealed that sex without love leaves him feeling unclean and makes him want to go wash afterwards.
During an exclusive chat with the Daily Star for a Facebook Live tell-all, the singer chatted about his colourful sex life.
When talking about casual encounters, the 66-year-old star said: "I think sex without love is a very sad thing to do and so we all did it at some point but it's not that rewarding you just feel like washing yourself when you finished, don't you?"
Talking about getting older, he added: "This steed doesn't get old I only know that I'm 66 cos my birth certificate tells me I was born in 1956."
The singer also spoke about his iconic TV stint and argued that the show came to an end due to Simon Cowell becoming a "Mr Nice Guy".
He told the Daily Star's Carly in Convo he thought the fact people don't buy records anymore was also a contributing factor.
"The other thing which I think contributed to the show losing its popularity was the fact that Simon had to become Mr Nice Guy," he went on.
"Before he would say horrible things to people singing badly.
He continued: "But now more and more the world is becoming a very boring place, where you have to be politically correct at all times."
Wagner believed Simon "had to change" with the more aware times of mental health, but said it did probably have an impact on the show's ratings.
He laughed: "People enjoyed watching him say horrible things, which is wrong.
"That was something that I think attracted people to watch the show."
Wagner entered the show in 2010 and was mentored by Louis Walsh who brought him onto the live shows as a wildcard.
Throughout the live shows, Wagner was increasingly coined as a 'novelty act' and was frequently given criticism by Simon and his fellow judges.
He came fifth on his series and confessed to moving out of the X Factor contestant house after clashing with other personalities and being appalled at the hygiene.
However, overall he loved his show experience and said all the judges and crew were amazing.
