Zara McDermott praises ‘strong’ Louise Thompson as she shares pregnancy news

Zara McDermott says she can't wait to become an aunt after her sister Louise and her fiancé Ryan Libbey announced they are expecting.

Zara and her boyfriend Sam Thompson congratulated the fair after the big news was confirmed.

The pair are thrilled they are having a baby after she suffered a devastating miscarriage earlier this year.

The Love Island star called her sister 'strong' after Louise opened up, admitted she feared history would repeat itself.

The fitness guru told her followers that the journey so far has been 'challenging' and wrote: "Counting our blessings.

"I thought I'd have all sorts of creative ways to deliver this information but the truth is the last 12 weeks have been quite challenging.

"I'd be lying if I said it's been an easy ride but the truth is I think poor Ryan has found it even harder than I have.

"Despite feeling a bit all over the place mentally and physically, I don't want to come across as negative.

"I feel an immense sense of gratitude for this gift and I want to remain sensitive to those that are still on their fertility journey."

Zara is proud of them both, and she uploaded a lengthy message with the four of them, and beaming Louise holding up a scan photo to the camera.

Now she can't wait to be a fun aunt and spoil the new arrival rotten.

The sweet post read: "When FOUR became FIVE can’t wait for this beautiful little bundle of happiness and joy to join us!!!

"Louise & Ryan, I am so excited for you and for this incredible journey you are about to embark on.

"The love you have for your little one already is so incredibly beautiful to see. I am in awe of the strength and courage you have shown this year; and this is the biggest blessing.

"I have never seen you both so happy, smiling and truly glowing from the inside out.

"Oh baby you are so loved already by all of us and I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you into our crazy family, where your uncle and auntie will be jumping over the wall next door 1000 times a day just to see your little face.

"Still can’t believe I’m going to be an auntie!"

Many of Louise and Ryan's friends rushed to congratulate the pair, as did fans of the reality star.
