Zendaya emotional as she breaks silence on Euphoria co-star Angus Cloud’s death

Zendaya has spoken out for the first time since her co-star Angus Cloud's death.

The actor, age 25, passed away earlier this week and has shaken fans all over the world.

The pair both starred in the HBO series Euphoria together and became close on set, playing characters Rue Bennett and Fezco O'Neill.

Zendaya shared a heartfelt message about her late co-star online and wrote: "Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor)."

"I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it) I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…'they could light up any room they entered' but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it.

"I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.

"My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone."

Fans flooded the comment section to support the star.

One wrote: "The last sentence I am so sorry for all the rude people in the previous post. A day haven’t passed by since the heartbreaking news and they acted like social media is everything. We love you so much and we are all here for you Z. Please take all the time you need."

A second added: "Death is one thing we will never comprehend, sorry for your loss, LOVE and prayers to his family, friends and everyone who cared deeply for him."

While a third penned: "You always know exactly what to say. Definitely thinking of you and hoping you’re holding up okay. Always here for you sending all my love."

Angus' shocking death was announced by his family on Monday night (July 31) as they revealed he died just day after his father's funeral.

His family's statement read: "It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."
