A recent YouTube video that captured a large brown figure crossing a river convinced conspiracy theorists that the legendary 'Bigfoot' was finally caught on camera – but experts analysing the video remain unsure.
The viral video that has been watched over 600,000 times has been causing debate on whether the strange gorilla-like creature really is the famous legend that's meant to inhabit the forests of North America.
The Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization (RSMO) who have been deemed 'bigfoot boffins' have studied the video to try and settle the debate once and for all, LADbible reports.
In a video shared on its YouTube channel, a member of the group says: "I don't know what it is, there are a lot more questions than answers.
"A lot of people think that it's maybe someone with a mosquito net or a face covering.
"There's a side profile screenshot that plainly shows the nose exposed to the air and it's the same colour as the rest of it."
In the video, the original footage is played repeatedly, zooming in and out and turned to different speeds, in order to try and find some answers.

The voiceover says: "It may very well be a person. I hear people saying it's someone in hip waders, I've never seen hip waders that go up over your head, I don't know, maybe stretch em' up over his face and head, and I don't know how his big, old schnozz is still sticking out there on the side.
"Yeah, this is just really weird. Hope they're not yanking our chain."

Kyle Shaw, an investigator working with RSMO previously looked at the footage but was left confused at what it could be.
He said: "I'm not saying this is Bigfoot, and I'm not saying it isn't."
Adding: "This is obviously shot with a cell phone at 880×656 resolution. It's 30 frames per second. It isn't the greatest footage.
"It's all we have to go with so you be the judge on what you think it is. I don't know what it is."
