Disbelief at Kray twin dogs Ronnie and Reggie who have ‘human faces’

Two mongrel dogs named after the infamous Kray twins have become celebrities in Plymouth because of their amazingly human faces.

Owner Kerry Docwra says that Ronnie, seven, and Reggie, eight, often lead her to being stopped in the street by people saying they look human with Ronnie getting the lion's share of attention.

Kerry explained: "There is not a day goes by that someone doesn’t comment about the way they look.

"Ewok, Falkor and human are the most common of many things. They are certainly unique.

"They have amazing personalities they are definitely characters – they are loyal, loving and love animals and humans."

The two pups have the same mum but different dads, and are a mix between a Staffordshire bull terrier and a pug shih tzu cross.

"Ronnie is a girl with pink lips and nose. Reggie is a boy with black lips and nose," she added.

The duo even have their own Instagram page, called ronnie_n_reggie18, where Kerry uploads adorable pictures of them living out their daily lives.

Thankfully though, unlike their namesakes, they have steered clear of a life of crime.

She told Plymouth Live: "Some of the pictures and the faces she pulls are so funny.

"All we ever get is, 'oh my god she looks like an ewok' she gets told she looks like everything but a dog.

"Everyone thinks I named them after the Krays but I didn't. People say, 'oh that's where you get their names from' but it's not. My eldest mate Reg.

"Now my children have all grown up, they're my fur babies. I love animals, I think they're amazing.

"They're so unusual, but they've got a beautiful temperament as well. They're brilliant with kids, they love kids."
