Wide-eyed festival-goers were stunned to see a stuntman making Domino's deliveries to Glastonbury using an actual jetpack.
The pizza pilot was seen flying over the Somerset countryside as Glastonbury got underway, welcoming 200,000 revellers to Worthy Farm once again.
Jet suit makers Gravity Industries made a custom jetpack for Domino's, who took it to their Glastonbury store and tasked the pilot with taking two pizzas in the suit’s custom delivery box.

After taking off and making a short flight over to Worthy Farm, the pilot landed and managed to give out a load of free pizza before zooming back to the Glastonbury store.
One amazed onlooker, Natalie, said: “Seeing a jet suit thing fly over Glasto was wild. I’ve never seen a jet suit, let alone one delivering pizzas. I can’t wait to see one land on my doorstep in the future.”
Sam Wilson, Domino’s Jet Suit Deployment Director, said: “Every year we see huge numbers of random requests from festival goers trying to sneak pizza into the party, so this year we wanted to take a giant step towards and trial our very own rocket man service to help hungry campers get a slice of sky-high satisfaction in the future.”
“When we realised pitching up to serve slices inside the festival was impossible, we took inspiration from this years’ headliner to launch our own rapid delivery trial – it was a bit of a no-brainer.”

When he was asked whether Brits could expect to see a fleet of pilots deliver pizzas across the UK, he simply said: “All we can say at this stage is that the idea has legs… or wings… or jets.”
The jetpack isn’t the only unexpected thing that partygoers saw at Glasto.
The Daily Star reported that a secret neon-lit tunnel had been built that thousands of revellers seemed to have missed.
The tunnel connects the Greenpeace Field and the Green Futures area and it is decorated, including the installation above where the roof of the tunnel is adorned with glass and lights.
