The cage fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg appears to be well and truly on as an "epic location" for the scrap has been agreed.
X (formerly Twitter) boss Musk challenged his Meta rival to a "cage fight", and what at first appeared to be a joke quickly became a reality after Zuckerberg accepted.
There had been rumours that the tech moguls were working with UFC president Dana White to get the bout organised, but those rumours were dispelled by Musk today (Friday, August 11).

Taking to his social media platform, the Tesla and SpaceX boss appeared to reveal the fight will be taking place in Italy.
Musk also further hinted it could take place in Rome's Colosseum after a previous post read "gladiator" alongside two sword emojis.
Musk wrote: "The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC).
"Livestream will be on this platform and Meta.
"Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.
"Everything done will pay respect to the past and present of Italy.
"And all proceeds go to veterans."
His initial tweet has been liked more than 117,000 times, with people clearly keen to see Musk and Zuckerberg go at it.
TMZ previously reported the Italian government had reached out to Zuckerberg about hosting the fight in the Colosseum. And Musk tweeted in June: "Some chance fight happens in Colosseum."
However, Italy's Ministry of Culture later issued a statement saying: "There has been no formal contact from the ministry nor any written document, even if the news appears tasty it is unfounded.
"If Zuckerberg and Musk wanted to perform in the Colosseum they would have to make a non-violent challenge."
It would now appear the Colosseum could be an option again.
