A bloke who shot dead seven people, including a 12-year-old girl, when he lost a bet on a pool game was shot dead after an altercation with police.
The massacre took place on February in a bar in Sinop, Mato Grosso, a large state in west-central Brazil and the shooters were identified Edgar Ricardo de Oliveira, 30, and Ezequias Souza Ribeiro, 27.
Reports suggest that Oliveira had lost a pool game against one of the victims, and lost around 4,000 reais (£640) before he returned with Ezequiel and challenged the man for a second time – but lost again.

The second lost drew laughs from bystanders, which saw the older man fetch a shotgun from a nearby car after the younger bloke already line them up against a wall whilst toting a pistol.
According to investigators, they left the municipality and sought refuge in a rural area after gunning down the innocent revellers.
Oliveira remains at large, according to Globo in Brazil, but the younger man was reportedly found in a wooded area, about 15km away from the city, close to the airport.
There was a confrontation between him and the police, he was "hit" and he later died in hospital.
Lawyer Marcos Vinicius Borges, who represents Edgar, reported that he will report to the police today (Thursday, February 23).
A team from the Special Operations Battalion (Bope) was sent to Sinop to search for the two shooters while a task force was set up, together with the Civil and Military Police, to arrest them.
Police yesterday found the 12mm rifle and the truck used during the slaughter.

CCTV captured the moment the pool hall owner was gunned down, followed by the other victims. One woman was spared and kept her hands in the air after the men fled.
The victims were named by Brazilian police as Larissa Frasao de Almeida, 12, Orisberto Pereira Sousa, 38, Adriano Balbinote, 46, Getulio Rodrigues Frasao Junior, 36, Josue Ramos Tenorio, 48, and Maciel Bruno de Andrade Costa, 35 – the pool hall owner.
A seventh victim – Elizeu Santos da Silva, 47 – died in hospital after initially surviving.
