Google Earth conspiracy theorists claim to spot spooky ‘E.T’ standing at window

A location on Google Earth appearing to show the alien character E.T is awash with conspiracy theories after being shared online.

The spooky scene was shared on TikTok by the channel @hidden.on.google.earth and has been watched more than 1.6 million times since it was uploaded.

In the clip, which shows the city of Duluth in Minnesota, US, the TikToker zooms in on an ordinary-looking street and then shows a window high up in one of the houses.

Zooming in further, the figure of E.T. from the classic 1980s Sci-Fi film is clearly visible and seems to be smiling while surveying the busy road overlooked by the house.

The footage has divided viewers, with some thinking it is "weird" and others saying it's just a model owned by someone who is a fan of the movie.

One person commented: "Omg I'm scared what's the name of the app or whatever it is, I'd like to try it."

A second user said: "It's not a mannequin I was there and it was not there."

"How did you just randomly find E.T?" asked a third viewer.

"You can't be serious that's f***ing E.T," another viewer wrote.

Someone else said: "When I was a kid I had an E.T doll thing like this it stood like 3ft tall."

This comes after a Google Earth user claimed to have spotted a mysterious base in the Arctic with "tic-tac UFOs" emerging from it – like the ones described by pilots from the USS Nimitz.

Describing what he saw, the uploader said: "These pods reminded me of the tic-tac UFO that was seen by the Navy.

"They got the same shape, another one here, got the white shape…reminded me of the things that were spotted by the pilots.

"The white tic-tacs sitting on top of the Earth in the Arctic Sea where nobody goes."
