‘Hot woman in handcuffs’ told to see an exorcist after ‘demonic’ mugshot smirk

A 'hot' woman who was arrested for possession of marijuana has been urged to see an exorcist after her creepy mugshot went viral.

The young redhead in her twenties caught the attention of social media users with her smirk, after she was booked on the charge in the US.

The post was the latest mugshot from social media page Mugshawtys, an account started in 2016 that shares the police photographs of attractive felons.

Posting on Instagram, the owner wrote that the young woman was arrested for "possession of marijuana". The post has been liked over 7,300 times in less than 24 hours.

"Clearly the marijuana possessed her. Free her, and get her to an exorcist," one man said in response. "Marijuana demon possession," added another.

A third person asked: "Why does she look so mischievous?"

Another person weighed in with: "Definition look of the word 'sinister'."

Another added that her charge was actually "possession of a cheeky smirk".

The account has over 435k followers on Twitter, where the bio says "shawtys, dm me your mugshots".

And the account owner told the New York Post in February 2020 that dozens of women send in their shots, but some aren't even felons.

“A lot of people send me their own mugshots — I get probably 15 to 20 plus [direct messages] a day of different ones,” the creator of Mugshawtys, then 24-year-old electrician Josh Jeffery, told The Post. “A lot of what I post is submissions.”

He said the women do it so he will shout out their Twitter handle or crowdfunding account, and in some cases, to help them raise bail.

“They definitely want some kind of exposure,” Jeffrey, who’s based in California, said.

“I think the US is the only country where there’s a public mugshot database,” he added. “I’ve posted some international mugshots, too, but every one of those the person sent me.”
