The fizzy drink world has been thrown into complete and utter panic after rumours began to surface claiming Fanta Lemon is about to be discontinued.
Starting on TikTok, the rumours beginning to circulate after a user posted a video of two cans held over a swimming pool captioned: "Fanta Lemon discontinued from all EU countries from 28th May 2022.
"Holidays never gunna be the same 🙁
"gunna be a sad day for all."
The comments were made by user @bushrod_, and were met by an outpouring of bitter sadness from fans of the soda.
For so many in the UK, Fanta Lemon is more than 330ml of carbonated, sweetened liquid. It is the taste of holidays, of childhood, of hot sand underfoot and small lizards scampering through cracks in the concrete.
In the wake of all this, and with so much at stake, are these horrifying rumours true or just a grim internet joke?
Is Fanta Lemon being discontinued?
Pause that online bulk order, because thankfully the rumours surrounding the discontinuation of Fanta Lemon are not true.
Speaking toThe Sun , a spokesperson for Coca Cola said: “We continue to offer a wide range of Fanta flavours across Europe, and Fanta Lemon continues to be a key part of this portfolio.”
So, sit back, relax and crack a cold can of Fanta Lemon, because the good times are here and they aren’t going anywhere.
What flavour Fanta can you get?

Coca-Cola, the company that owns Fanta, was the focus of the internet's attention last week as the world’s richest person, Elon Musk, joked about wanting to buy the soft drink superpower.
Musk has recently had his £36bn bid for the social media platform Twitter accepted.
On April 28 he quipped: "Next I'm buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in."
