A UFO hunter wants celebrity saucer spotters Gemma Collins and Robbie Williams to help him find aliens.

Russ Kellett has been investigating sightings and strange phenomena for 30 years.

He has now invited big names to join him in unlocking the secrets of a British UFO hotspot.

Last year, Towie legend Gemma told how her mum Joan claimed to have had an encounter with an alien with “dead eyes” on a train.

Robbie Williams and fellow singer Kim Wilde have also told of an interest in UFOs.

And earlier this month, we told of Strictly star Tom Fletcher’s “lifelong fear” of aliens.

Russ now wants them to visit his base in north Wales and discover the truth. He says areas like the Dee Estuary, where he does research with pal Lynn Murphy, are UFO hotspots.

Russ said: “I want them to know it's genuine – we’re not after money. We want to go out for a couple of nights and hopefully make contact.”

Last year, North Wales was highlighted as being a hotbed for unexplained sightings.

Russ believes they could be linked to an incident dubbed the UK’s Roswell – or “Roswelsh” – when a UFO was claimed to have crash-landed in Merionethshire in January 1974.

He is writing a book based on his years of research into the incident.
