The August bank holiday (bank holiday Monday is August 30) is set to be more popular than ever this year for domestic holidays, as many Brits plan on staying in the UK for a break.
The limited number of countries on the green list for foreign travel has put many holidaymakers off heading abroad.
As a result, the UK is experiencing a staycation boom – meaning less availability for breaks than ever.
Thankfully, there are still some holidays available for the bank holiday weekend in August.
Some of the best deals are:
- Airbnb Dorset breaks from £188 per stay
- Haven Essex breaks from £555 per stay

Brits still looking to book their UK break this year have been disappointed with the little left on the market.
It has been reported that 90 per cent of summer holidays are sold out as UK tour operators warn that bookings are still soaring.
Haven holiday parks have extended their holiday season until November due to the surge in demand.
And some lucky Brits who have managed to nab a UK holiday this summer could lose their trip, as desperate families are offering to pay more to 'steal' it.
