BA launches January sale where you can get a 7-night package holiday to Malaga for £199pp

BRITISH Airways has launched its January sale, with package holidays to popular tourist hotspots for £199.

Brits can start looking ahead to a going abroad next year, as the airline today unveiled discounts on flights and package holidays to more than 100 destinations.

These include Spain, Portugal, Greece, the Caribbean and the US.

Passengers can bag return flights to New York from £326, and return flights to San Francisco from £343.

The airline is offering seven-night holiday packages, including flights and hotel, to the Caribbean.

Prices start at £549 for a week in Barbados, £619 for a week in St Lucia, and £639 for a week in Jamaica.

If you want to spend a week a little closer to home, there are a host of European destinations to choose from, with prices starting at £199 to go to Malaga, Mallorca, Corfu and the Algarve.

For those of you more interested in a city break, shorter trips are available.

Two night city breaks are on offer from £119 in Prague, Budapest and Venice.

The airline is offering a flexible booking policy, so customers can move their flights, destination or get a refund as long as the holiday dates are before August 31, 2022.

British Airways has confirmed it will launch a short-haul subsidiary at Gatwick, with flights starting in March 2022.

Tickets to 35 short-haul destinations are on sale and start from £39 each way.

The announcement BA will be launching more flight routes comes just a week after the airline revealed it has slashed more than 2,000 flights until March, 2022.

The cutting of flights is down to a reduced demand for air travel thanks to the pandemic.
