Bag a cabin on the ultimate 80s UK cruise – 4 nights featuring ABC, Nik Kershaw & The Christians from £499pp

CRUISE fans should take note of Princess' newly launched staycation cruise, which sets sail this September for four nights.

It's an eighties-themed seacation – with big names acts from the era performing live on the ship, which will sail around the UK coastline.

The four-night sailing on the Regal Princess will take passengers around the British Isles, including a visit to Portland in Dorset to see the beautiful Jurassic Coast.

The trip, taking place on September 5, 2021, will depart from Southampton, and is exclusively for adults.

All guests get to stay in a cabin with a balcony for sea views, or can even treat themselves to an upgraded stay in a Mini-Suite.

You also stay on a full-board basis so you don't have to worry about picking up the bill for meals, as breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks are all included.

Prices start from just £499pp for a Balcony cabin, increasing to £699pp for a Mini-Suite – to book a cabin click here.

The cruise is billed as 'The Ultimate 80s Experience' and it has seriously impressive line-up of live acts on board to entertain guests.

Among the acts are Martin Fry, lead singer of ABC, T’Pau, The Christians, Nik Kershaw, Toyah and Altered Images.

They'll be performing hits such as China in Your Hands, The Look of Love, Wont' Let The Sun Go Down On Me and It's A Mystery, among others.

These aren't the only events on board though, with original music productions performed in the ship's theatre, plus open-air movie nights at the poolside Movies Under the Stars ® and a dazzling Princess® WaterColor Fantasy light and water show.

On board the ship has a range of restaurants with something to suit every taste – from the freshest seafood to traditional Southern BBQ, signature pastas, premium aged steaks and more.

After months without any pampering during lockdown, guests will also relish the chance to spend some time at the The Lotus Spa & The Enclave, which has a large thermal suite and a hydrotherapy pool, available at an additional cost.

Sailings will be running at a 50 per cent reduced capacity in order to meet Covid-19 protocols.

Guest will need to have Covid-19 screenings before the ship's departure, and there'll be temperature checks and health questionnaires to complete.

Masks will be required when physical distancing can't be maintained or when required by health authorities.

All guests will need to be UK residents and fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
