It was announced this week that double-vaccinated Brits visiting amber list countries can skip quarantine from July 19.

But travellers will still have to show a negative test when coming back to the UK, and take a PCR test on the second day after their return.

Children under 18 will not have to isolate but will have to take a series of tests.

Brits who are not double-vaccinated will need to have taken a negative test pre-arrival, do a mandatory ten-day quarantine at home and take two Covid tests, taken on day two and day eight, when returning to the UK.

Spain introduced new rules last week which requires all Brits to be fully vaccinated or have a negative test to enter the country.

Spain was originally one of the few destinations which welcomed UK travellers with no restrictions, but has introduced them after Covid cases have risen in recent weeks.
