A BIG rule change for sun-seeking Brits travelling to Spain is set to come into force this month.
The Spanish government announced that it is finally going to scrap the mandatory face masks on April 20.
Health Minister Carolina Darias confirmed on Thursday that face masks will no longer be required in indoor public spaces.
Masks will remain compulsory on public transport, in hospitals and in nursing homes.
And while some regions such as Madrid and Catalonia, are worried the rule won't be changed in time for the Easter holidays, other areas such as Andalusia and Extremadura, think the rule is being lifted so soon.
The rule is set to be changed ahead of the busy holiday season as sun-loving Brits are eager to return to their favourite holiday hotspot.

I’ve lost £300 on Ryanair flights after Spain reversed their travel rules
The change comes after many Brits were left disappointed when last week the Spanish tourist board wrongly announced that unjabbed tourists could enter Spain with a negative Covid test.
However, hours later they clarified that only unvaccinated aged between 12 and 17 can enter the country with just a Covid test.
From the rule only those who have a Proof of Recovery showing they have recovered from the virus more than 11 days ago and less than six months ago are exempt.
The u-turn left many Brits out of pocket as they rushed to book flights to Spain- only to be told they cannot enter a while later.

Spain is currently one of the few European countries that have put an expiration date on vaccine certificates.
