Brits face summer holiday chaos as British Airways cancels MORE popular routes

SUMMER holidays have been put at risk after British Airways cancelled MORE popular flight routes.

BA have cancelled UK flights to Miami, Hong Kong and Tokyo throughout the summer, with plans to scrap the routes for at least four months.

Now holidaymakers are fearing that even more popular destinations will be cancelled amid the ongoing staff shortages.

Flights from Heathrow to Miami will be cut from two to one a day from June 4 until at least September 7, BA customers were told.

It's one of the most popular destinations for UK families and is set to affect thousands of holidaymakers this summer.

Hong Kong has been removed from the flight log due to the ongoing entry restrictions caused by the Covid pandemic.

Many of the cancelled flights are due to staff shortages due to Covid or a reduction in schedules.
