CENTER Parcs has been forced to close three of their holiday parks after they were damaged by the storms.
Storm Eunice caused widespread disruption across the UK over the weekend after wind speeds up to 122mph were reported.
Airlines were forced to cancel flights, train lines were suspended after trains and debris blocked the lines and attractions including Legoland and the London Eye closed their doors.
Center Parcs has since confirmed that holiday parks Longleat, Woburn Forest and Elveden are to remain closed for the rest of the week.
In a statement on their website posted yesterday, they wrote: "In light of the damage to our villages caused by Storm Eunice we have taken the decision to close Elveden, Longleat & Woburn Forest for the above break.
"The storm has been persistent over the weekend which has slowed the clean-up process for our team.
"We understand that this will be disappointing news for those guests who were due to arrive tomorrow but keeping everyone as safe as possible and maintaining our standards is always our priority.
"We do not take the decision to close our villages lightly and we hope our guests will understand why we feel it is necessary to take this course of action."
Any guests affected will receive a text and email, and can rebook their holidays or get a full refund.
