Center Parcs money savings tips including how to get a free extra day at the park

CENTER Parcs has shared their top tips and money saving advice for families planning a holiday together this summer.

Here are some of the top ways to make your next stay at the holiday park cheaper and easier.

You can visit the park before you check in

While you can only check into your lodges from 4pm, this doesn't mean you can't make the most of the park.

Families can explore the park from the morning to make the most of their stay, meaning you get an extra six hours of fun.

The park website states: "On your day of arrival, you can start your adventure in the forest from 10am and have access to your accommodation at 4pm."

You don't need to leave after check out either

While you have to check out by 10am, you don't have to head straight home.

Guests can stay on site until midnight that day, meaning you can prolong your trip for another 14 hours – add this on top of the check-in tip and you get nearly 20 hours extra to stay.

The website states: "On your final day at Center Parcs don’t rush to get back to reality, you will need to leave your accommodation by 10am, though guests are welcome to stay on village until midnight."

Pre-order food packs to be delivered for free

Forget doing a big shop and lugging it from your car – you can get food delivered for free to your chalet.

If you spend more than £40 at the on-site shop, the park will send it to you for no extra cost.

The website says: "Don’t worry about doing a food shop before you arrive on village, head to the ParcMarket for your everyday essentials and if you spend more than £40 we’ll deliver your shopping to your accommodation for free."

You can also pre-order packs to make it even easier, including a Full English Breakfast pack or a Family Grocery Pack so you don't have to think ahead of time.

Previous guests have even said there is a way to save further on TripAdvisor – going half an hour before the shop closes often sees lots of the food reduced.

Free baby swimming sessions

If your younger kids aren't used to the water yet, you can take advantage of free swimming sessions.

Baby Dolphins is a free session for kids under three before the pool opens, so parents can have a quieter session with their little ones.

The holiday park has already opened bookings as far ahead as 2023 – so families can take advantage of cheaper deals in advance.

Last year, Center Parcs announced plans to open a sixth holiday village at a site near Crawley, West Sussex.
