Center Parcs reveals post-Christmas winter wonderland light events – with breaks from £99pp

CENTER Parcs has revealed their Winter Forest event with a snow-covered wonderland and light displays throughout the park.

The attraction, launching from January 2022, will be perfect for anyone who gets the Christmas blues to celebrate for a bit longer.

The Winter Forest Lights event will include a winter playground with lights, toadstools and snow, as well as animatronic pixie displays.

The Wishlight Village will be lit up by lanterns and twinkling lights while guests can enjoy hot chocolates and other snacks at the Forest Fayre, as well as visit the Enchanted Light Trail, open from 4pm-9pm daily.

The park's new The Winter Forest Lights storybook lets kids meet light-catcher Luminessa, and the book can be bought on-site or listened to on the TV in your lodge from 6pm for a bedtime story.

There are lots of festive photo opportunities during the walks, including pixie wings for little guests to wear and pretend to fly with.

Need to keep the kids occupied? There are also extra themed activities including a Winter Lantern Workshop, Winter Cookie Decorating and Winter Cupcake Decorating for Little Ones.

The post-Christmas event will run from January 10 to February 27 next year, giving families the perfect excuse to extend the holiday spirit.

Breaks during the light show season start from £399 for a four-night holiday, and when sleeping four, works out to just £99 each for the break.

Guests who stay during this time will also be able to visit the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, heated to a toasty 29.5C all year round, with families able to book up to seven swim sessions, depending on how long they stay.

Their Book with Confidence guarantee lets families cancel or move their holidays up until April 2022 with no charge, and full refunds.

Want to plan a holiday really far in advance? Center Parcs has already launched bookings for breaks in 2023.

Center Parcs has also announced plans for a sixth holiday village in the UK, hoping to open in Crawley in West Sussex.

Last year Center Parcs' Whinfell Forest resort launched their new luxury treehouses – here is what you can expect from them.
