Cheap seaside breaks this bank holiday weekend from £7pp a night – as temperatures are set to hit 24C | The Sun

AFTER months of gloomy weather, Brits will finally get to enjoy the sunshine this bank holiday weekend.

With temperatures set to see highs of 24C, there's no better time to head on a staycation.

We scoured the internet to find the best deals still available to book, with deals starting from £119 per stay.

This means that you could bag a staycation from £7pp a night.

The Met Office has predicted "settled" conditions as Spring fades into Summer, with temperatures set to rise steadily and reaching highs of 24C.

The Met's forecast said there will be 'lots of settled weather for many, with dry sunny conditions', with the highest temperatures expected in East Wales, the West Midlands and the South West.

The sun and warm temperatures couldn't come at a better time – as both the bank holiday and half-term are also upon us.

The late May bank holiday falls on May 29, while the half-term holidays should run from May 29 to June 2 in England and Wales.

We also revealed how to get as much time off as possible without using all of your annual leave.

So, in this case, if you take four days off work, from Tuesday, May 30, through to Friday, June 2, you'll get nine consecutive days of holiday.
