Chessington has overnight stays, park entry & brekkie from £50pp this summer | The Sun

LITTLE adventurers are invited to join Chessington's brand new street party this year – and there are some great deals on offer

To celebrate the new 'Mardi GRRRA' event, Chessington has launched overnight stays from £50pp for a family of four, including some extra freebies.

The £50pp deals are available on selected dates in June, so you'll have to be quick to bag the lowest prices.

The £50pp deal includes your stay in the Explorer Glamping tents for a family of four, while the hotel deals will be slightly higher.

All the overnight stays include breakfast and a one-day entry to the theme park and zoo.

Families staying at the resort hotels also get exclusive extras, including access to the Savannah Splash Pool, early ride access, animal meet and greets, hotel entertainment, and free WiFi.

The 'early ride time' lets you beat the crowds and enjoy a few rides before the park opens to the general public.

The carnival promises a "big celebration" with live entertainment, food, rides and animal experiences for an unforgettable experience.

You'll find world-class performers with music playing throughout the park to fully immerse yourself in the spirit of Mardi Gras.

On top of the 'Mardi GRRRA' celebrations, Chessington has even more in store for guests this year.

The new World of Jumanji land will officially open on May 15.

In the new land, you'll find the first new rollercoaster at Chessington since 2004, Mandrill Mayhem, designed in the style of the monkey that swoops through trees in the wild.

A first for Chessington, Mandrill Mayhem will lift riders into the air in the arms of a huge replica mandrill, push them back and forward, and flip them before spiralling towards the top of the 55-foot-tall Jaguar Shrine.

This one will be the centrepiece of the new land, but you'll also find thrilling new rides, Ostrich Stampede and Mamba Strike.

You'll also find a Jumanji-themed maze (based on the film's board game), themed food, drinks, and merchandise.

A good trick to make the most of your two days at Chessington is to download the Chessington Resort app to find the shortest ride queues, ride availability and daily offers.

The app also shows you the nearest toilets, which is always handy.

When booking, it is important to note that access to the Savannah Splash Pool, early ride time, and other perks are subject to availability and room type.

If you're willing to travel further, Disney World has 14-day tickets for the price of 7 and freebies, saving you hundreds.
