TWO friends, who were hoping to visit Budapest, were shocked to discover they'd booked flights to an entirely different country.
After a man surprised his female friend with a trip to Budapest in Hungary, the pair headed to the airport to catch their flight.
But as they joined the queue to board the plane, TikTok user SopheAlice spotted something wrong with the boarding gate.
Instead of heading to Budapest, they'd actually booked flights to Bucharest in Romania – another capital city 520 miles away.
The pair shared their holiday mishap on TikTok.
In the video, the two travellers can be seen edging closer to the boarding gate that's showing a flight for Bucharest.

"Yes, we went, of course, we went and it was great."
While it may seem like an unusual mistake to make, this isn't the fist time a hopeful holidaymaker has ended up in the wrong place.
Kingsley Burnett from New York had hoped to go to Australiafor some winter sun, but realised he'd made a mistake when he saw mountains covered in snow.
The 62-year-old had instead booked to fly to Sidney – a small town in Montana with a population of around 6,000 people.
According to Mr Burnett, the mistake arose after he got the airport codes mixed up.
Sydney, his intended destination is SYD. However, Sidney is pretty similar, with SDY.
