"We finish the trip off with a stop at a lovely tapas bar, enjoy a nice cold beer and a sangria, before making our way back to the airport to return to the UK."

While they had to start the day early at 2:30am – and didn't get home for another 23 hours – they decided to try the trick after doing a similar day holiday to Amsterdam from the UK.

They also said they barely spent any money – seeing as they didn't have to pay for a hotel overnight – and only had to pay for tourists attractions and two meals.

Will said they wanted to try it themselves to "show people what could be done in a short space of time and the great places you can get to".

People on YouTube were impressed by the attempt.

One person wrote:"Wow – cannot believe you did Barcelona in a day! You packed so much in."

Another said: "I wish any of my days were half as exciting."

A third agreed: "I’m so jealous you were able to travel and do this in one day."

They aren't the first person to attempt such an ambitious day trip.
