EasyJet launches new tool which will always find you the cheapest flight

EASYJET has launched a clever new tool which means you can always find the cheapest flight.

The Low Fare Finder is similar to Skyscanner, but works just for easyJet flights.

Found on the easyJet website, travellers can put in their departure and arrival destinations into the Low Fare Finder.

A graph showing the cheapest months and cheapest days will then be created, as well as showing how many seats are left at the cheapest price.

For example, flights from London Gatwick to Barcelona are the cheapest in March – it then shows the cheapest days, which are Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The most expensive months were May and June were some flights were more than £200.

It also shows how many seats are still cheap – there were 13,952 seats under £50 on that flight route still available.

It isn't the easiest to find flights – not only can you not see the prices until you click through to the check out, but each month shows different price brackets, meaning June may look cheap overall, but flights on average are more expensive.

EasyJet currently has flights as cheap as £11.99 on sale right now with 20 pe cent off flights to Greece and Spain.

The airline has also launched a new discount for single parents, making it cheaper for them to take their kids on holiday.

Experts have revealed other ways to try and find the cheapest flights for your next holiday.

Buying two one-way tickets can sometimes be cheaper than a return ticket, so do check just in case.

While a return ticket in and out of the same city used to be cheapest, flying in one city and out of another can often yield better prices.

Families and friends booking flights together should compare prices quoted for group bookings and individual bookings before deciding on how to book.

This is because airlines usually release a select number of seats at the lowest price and when these sell out, the next highest price will be shown.

It is also worth looking for error fares, which are when flight prices are listed by mistake, as this can save hundreds of pounds.
