Emmerdale fans will be able to go behind the scenes on new tours of the Leeds studios

EMMERDALE fans will be able to go behind the scenes of their favourite TV show and visit the studio set for the first time.

Launching on June 15, the Emmerdale Studio Experience in Leeds will offer guided tours around some of the iconic sets featured in the soap.

Fans can visit the Burley Road and Kirkstall Road Studios over the space of two hours.

While there, they can see working and replica sets up close and have a chance to see the costumes and props.

There's even a chance to get a selfie on the iconic Dingles sofa – perhaps the most famous seats in the show – although a professional photographer will also be on hand.

Another highlight is the hands-on experience – you can try your hand at lighting a set and editing a scene from the show.

The experience finishes in the gift shop, where you can pick up a souvenir to take home.

The Emmerdale tours first launched in 2017 but this new addition offers an insight into the live working sets for the first time.

The tour costs £23.50 for adults and £12.50 for children.

Fans can also book the Village Tour, which opened in 2016, which is 90 minutes of a guided walk of the working village including the Woolpack and the Village Hall.

The tour is one of the most popular things to do in Yorkshire, with Home Farm and Bob's Cafe also a fun visit within the experience.
