Europe's cheapest beaches revealed – where can get a beer for as little as 61p | The Sun

THE best budget beaches in Europe have been revealed – you can expect 30C temperates and beers for under £1.

With holiday prices on the rise, finding budget destinations with bargain prices is currently very important.

The research was carried out by the online travel comparison website Omio, which analysed the average price of costs including bottled water, beer, and a light lunch.

They compared the costs of 75 of Europe's most popular beaches and included other factors like temperatures and public popularity into their rankings.

Based on the above, the cheapest beach destination was Cleopatra Beach in Turkey.

Set on the west of the Alanya peninsula in the Antalya region, Cleopatra Beach lies two kilometres away from Alanya city centre.

The weather is also great too with temperates reaching 34C in the summer months.

Both WizzAir and Turkish Airlines operate direct routes from London to Antalya, with flights starting at £54 in August.

It gets pretty toasty too, with temperatures rising to 29C during the hottest months of the year.

Primorsko Beach in Bulgaria was also listed as another affordable beach.

Not only does a beer cost just 69p but the food and drink is cheap too with a cheap meal costing just £5.36.
