Half-term holiday headaches solved as easyJet offers arts and crafts sessions for kids on board | The Sun

PARENTS wondering how to keep their kids occupied while on half-term flights are in luck as one airline starts up arts and crafts sessions on board.

EasyJet has announced their 'AirCraft' scheme, which is meant to encourage kids to be more creative on flights, while keeping them entertained.

The campaign was created with the help of Art Attack legend Neil Buchanan, so youngsters will no doubt be in good hands.

The much-loved presenter has recorded tutorial videos for children, including tips on how to draw and create imaginative, travel-inspired work.

He is also hosting live art classes for families in the 'Gateway' lounge at Gatwick on 24 October.

These will be free to attend for EasyJet customers travelling with kids aged 12 and under.

Yet almost two thirds say they lack the confidence to know how to draw.

Meanwhile, almost all of the parents surveyed said they want to engage more in arty activities with their kids and 72 per cent say they would like their child to be more creative, but don't know how to teach them.
