BRITS returning from their half-term holidays through Dover have been warned of a new four-day strike action by Border Force.
Members of the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union will strike from Friday, February 17, to Monday, February 20.
Striking over their ongoing wage dispute with the government, PCS staff will be walking out in Calais, Coquelles, Dunkirk and Dover.
The Home Office warned Brits to allow extra time and be prepared for disruption.
A source told The Telegraph: “We are extremely disappointed with the union’s decision to strike and the inconvenience this will cause to travellers and businesses.
“We continue to work closely with all affected ports to assess the impacts of this announcement. Whilst we have robust plans in place to minimise any delays, passengers should be prepared for disruption and take action to plan ahead.”

To help reduce delays, ministers are attempting to mobilise the military to cover for the on-duty Border Force staff.
The same happened when thousands of Border Force agents walked out last December at both UK airports and the Dover border, from 23-26 and 28-31 December.
The Home Office called in more than 600 members of the Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and civil servants.
Strikes will also cause disruption elsewhere during the half-term in the UK and abroad.
