Health and fitness guru Rosemary Conley checks in to our travel Q&A

This week health and fitness guru Rosemary Conley checks into our travel Q&A.

She reveals her ‘beautiful’ all-time favourite holiday destination, the handy accessory that she can’t travel without – and more.

EARLIEST HOLIDAY MEMORY?

Going to Croyde Bay, Devon, in our caravan aged five on a family holiday.

FAVOURITE DESTINATION?

Austria — beautiful in both summer and winter. Somebody once said that when God made the world he picked up Austria and Switzerland in his two hands and kissed them.

Rosemary’s earliest travel memory is a childhood caravanning break in Croyde Bay, Devon (above)

FAVOURITE HOTEL?

The Berghof in Austria which I’ve been going to for 37 years. My husband Mike and I had our honeymoon there.

MOST MEMORABLE HOLIDAY?

Staying in a luxury villa in Mustique. I told my publishers I’d write a book for them if they put me up there. It sold well, so they got their money back.

A stay in a luxury villa in Mustique proved to be Rosemary’s most memorable holiday of all time. Above is the island’s idyllic Britannia Bay

CAN’T TRAVEL WITHOUT?

My Dunlopillo — it’s the only pillow that doesn’t give me neck ache.

WHERE NEXT?

Either the Lakes or the Scottish Highlands both of which I adore.
