Hilarious footage shows tourists queuing for sun beds at 7am before sprinting to best spots at Greek resort | The Sun

VIEWERS have been left in stitches after a video showing Brits vying for their spot in the sun went viral.

Each summer, hotels become the sites of frantic battles, as guests try to reserve the best loungers with their towels first thing in the morning.

TikToker Holly shared the clips showing the eager sunbather's antics which began at 7:30am.

A line of vacationers could be seen waiting by the pool entrance with their towels clutched tightly, as the pool man finished prepping the area.

Holly said: "People have queued since 7:30am. The pool man is enjoying his power."

A few people tried their luck by launching their towels over the fence and onto the chairs, but they were forced to join the queue as well.

Holly replied: "It's Rhodes Horizon Resort in Greece – avoid at all costs."

Others pointed out that a gorgeous beach was just across the way, and nobody was rushing to grab a spot there.

One viewer said: "What should happen next is when everyone disappears a member of staff takes them away.

"This shouldn't be allowed. If you want a sunbed then sit on it."

Another woman filmed tourists reserving sun loungers for the entire week they were at the Majorca resort.

She said: "It's 7'o clock at night, and these people reserve their sunbeds for the whole week. They don't move them."

Gillian filmed from her balcony and showed an entire row of beach chairs by the pool already filled with towels.

She continued: "They lie there so you can't get a sunbed.

"It is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous."

The video has gone viral online, and others have shared their thoughts about those who reserve sunbeds.
