HOLIDAYMAKERS heading to the US will no longer have to show a negative Covid test to enter the country.
The new rules will be in place from this Sunday, June 12.
The Biden administration confirmed that passengers will no longer need to take a lateral flow test, which was previously required 24 hours before arrival.
The rules were first put in place by the Trump administration back in 2021.
This was then tightened, back in December 2021, reducing the time for negative tests from three days to one day.
This applied to all travellers, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, excluding kids aged two and under.

However, vaccinated travellers can now enter the US with just proof of their vaccination.
Anyone who is yet to have both jabs can still not enter the US.
But Brits hoping to visit the US including Disney holidays to Florida will be able to visit with fewer entry rules, as well as costs.
The new rules will be reassessed in 90 days by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), according to a senior Biden administration official.

There are still some Covid rules in place across the US, including face mask restrictions.
The UK Foreign Office states: "A number of US states no longer mandate the use of masks and face coverings while in public.
"However, the guidance will vary from state to state and there can often be different rules within different localities in the same state.
