HOLIDAY parks are popular with families wanting an easy holiday, but aren't as tacky as people may think.
Many are now offering girly weekend breaks, which include pamper treatments and goodies.
UK holiday park owner and operator Bridge Leisure has launched four themed holiday packages specifically designed for people not have been to a UK holiday park before.
One package, called the "Recharge Break" is aimed at couples and groups who need some rest and relaxation.
Part of the trip includes two bottles of wine, as well as a pamper hamper which includes face masks, foot masks, and eye masks.
Dog-lovers also have catered holidays – the "Houndtastic Holidays" deal which lets pups stay for half the price.
The lucky animals also get dog treats, toys and "Pupsecco" included.
Each stay includes a local guide themed for guests, such as pubs and spas or local dog walks.
Other packages include the "Great Outdoors" – with complimentary packed lunches – and "Treat your Tots" which a free teddy bear and events.
CEO of Bridge Leisure Andrew Howe said: “We are already seeing a huge demand for peak dates which is great news, but there are a huge amount of people out there that want to actively avoid going away during school holidays.
"The fact is that many people without kids or with young kids may be used to traveling oversea for their holidays but can't at the moment.
"The off peak breaks are a way to get people who may never have been to a holiday park before to see it isn’t all about bingo and knobbly knees."
He continued:“Over the last year we have had so many people stay with us who had never stayed at a UK holiday park and were amazed at the quality of the modern caravans and lodges and the amenities for tourers."
The packages can be booked online as an add on to any off peak bookings on specified dates.
