Holidaymakers can pay £70 a night to stay in a pig sty, with an extra £20 for heating and bedding

HOLIDAYMAKERS can muck down in sty-le in an old pig pen for £90.

That is despite there being nowhere to wash their snouts and trotters at this farmyard hut.

Visitors pay £70 a night with £5 more for heating and £15 for bedding to sleep in the corrugated iron sty in woodland at Morelands Copse, Hants, an ex-animal charity centre.

One guest, who booked The Pig Pen via Airbnb, which can sleep up to two people, said: “Beautiful campsite. It was a big hit with my wife.

“The communal field kitchen is incredible.”

They sleep in a corrugated iron shelter in woodland that used to be home to an animal charity’s swine.

Guests are told: “The Pig Pen is unique, raised off the ground and with its own private deck area nestled within the woodland.
