Holidays for the school break are still super cheap – with seven nights in Spain from £113pp

WITH the addition of Croatia and Bulgari to the green list, families can head abroad from next week to more popular holiday destinations.

Despite fears that prices could soar, there are thankfully loads of bargains still out there even for the popular summer season.

From Monday, both Bulgaria and Croatia will welcome Brits without having to quarantine back in the UK, joining destinations such as Madeira and Malta.

Not only that, but double jabbed Brits will also be able to visit amber list countries as well, with the quarantine restrictions being lifted when returning the UK.

This means fully vaxxed families will be able to visit most of Europe including Spain, Portugal and Greece with very few restrictions.

TravelSupermarket's Emma Coulthurst said: "In this case, you will need to take the same tests as for return from a green country (a test 72hrs before your return to the UK and a PCR test on or before day two of your return), so you will already have the right tests booked."

Some deals are are low as £113 each if travelling next month, which includes seven nights and return flights, some at 3* resorts.

Spain and Greece don't even require Brits to be vaccinated, as both with accept a negative test on arrival, along with Bulgaria and Croatia.

Destinations such as Portugal, France and green list Malta are only accepting fully vaccinated Brits.

Jet2 has launched more flights to Bulgaria and Croatia in response to their green list status, while EasyJet said it added an extra 145,000 seats for flights to Spain, Greece and Portugal for the summer due to high demand.

But sources have warned that the additional checks at airports and an increased number of passengers following the announcement might create long queues at airports, with people waiting up to six hours at the border.
